In our plumbing and mechanical department we handle various jobs, ranging from simple and minor works such as changing a faucet to more elaborate ones, like the design and installation of larger and multiple systems, as for example the installation of plumbing and drain laying for a block of apartments.

Like in the case of all other trades, we strive to use top quality materials. In actual fact we use stainless-steel fittings, which cannot be undone if not with the use of appropriate ‘release keys’, for all our plumbing works. We do not take shortcuts and/or cut corners, subsequently we make sure to avoid sharp pipe bends, as these can lead to pipe breakages and water leaks in future years. Instead, as good workmanship demands, elbows are used where appropriate and as necessary.

When it comes to plumbing systems, for us at Rainbow, it is of utmost importance that they are tested, especially in areas where pipe work is going to be hidden, such as in bathrooms. Hence, appropriate pressure tests are carried out using proper test pumps before pipe work is covered by plaster or tiles.

In addition to all of the above, we also carry out new or complete renovations of bathrooms, alterations and repairs in kitchen plumbing works, supply and installation of water tanks and pumps, overflow systems for water reservoirs and wells collecting rain water, sewer and drain systems, installation of main riser pipes and drop ones from roofs, installation of water heaters and many others.

When required we carry out plumbing installations using weldable piping systems. These usually apply where a higher water pressure in pipes is to be present or when one decides to install an ultimate plumbing system.

The installation of suspended toilets, recessed water cisterns (flushings) and embedded mixers are only some examples of our daily routine works. When installing sanitary sets extra care is taken for the little details. For example when it comes to the application of silicone it is always done carefully so that no excess residue is left as we believe that the eye is in the detail as it plays an important part in the aesthetic appearance of the final product.
